How the PayPal payout works in Kenya
PayPal rewards go out through Tremendous, our payout partner, so claiming is a two-step thing. Step one, redeem the reward in the Store and put in your phone number as the contact. Step two, open the My Rewards tab, tap Redeem Now next to that order, and type your PayPal email on the Tremendous page. The button stays put until you use it, so nothing is lost if you miss it the first time.
Most PayPal rewards land within minutes of tapping Redeem Now. Once in a while it takes up to 24 hours. If 24 hours pass and nothing has come in, write to support with the reward name and the date you redeemed, and we will follow it up. If a payout fails on our side, your points come back to you automatically.
Halo Mini will never ask for your PayPal password or a one-time code. All we need is the email on your PayPal account.
Getting the dollars into your Kenyan bank account
Halo Mini pays in US dollars. To spend it here, you withdraw from PayPal to a linked Kenyan bank account. PayPal's fee page for Kenya, last updated in May 2026, lists a KES 105 charge on bank withdrawals below KES 20,000 and no PayPal fee at KES 20,000 or more. That is before currency conversion. PayPal's Kenya help page says a standard bank transfer usually lands in one business day, though it can take three to five.
The fee is per withdrawal, and Halo Mini rewards are small, so let them build up in your PayPal balance and withdraw in one go instead of one by one. Remember PayPal also adds its currency conversion margin when it turns dollars into shillings. The current margin is on PayPal's fee page.
- Bank withdrawal below KES 20,000: KES 105 fee
- Bank withdrawal of KES 20,000 or more: no PayPal fee (currency conversion still applies)
- Standard bank transfer: usually 1 business day, sometimes 3 to 5

Watch out for these
If someone in a Telegram or WhatsApp group offers to swap your PayPal balance for cash, ignore them. That offer is a well-known con and players have lost money to it. The safe route is PayPal's own bank transfer.
Your PayPal account must be able to receive money. If PayPal asks you to confirm who you are or to link a bank account before you can withdraw, that is PayPal's rule, not ours. Halo Mini does not ask for any ID.

Frequently asked questions
How much is one PayPal reward on Halo Mini?
In Kenya the PayPal rewards come in $1, $2, $3 and $5. The bigger ones need more points, and the progress bar in the Store shows how far you are from each.
Do I get paid in shillings or dollars?
US dollars. PayPal changes them to shillings when you withdraw to your Kenyan bank, at its own exchange rate plus its conversion margin.
My PayPal order shows completed but nothing has come in. Why?
PayPal rewards have a second step. Go to My Rewards, tap Redeem Now next to that order, and enter your PayPal email on the Tremendous page. The money goes out after that, usually within minutes.
Do I need to show ID to cash out to PayPal?
Not on our side. Halo Mini only needs your PayPal email. PayPal may ask you to verify your account before you withdraw to a bank, and that part is between you and PayPal.
How much can I earn?
That depends on how much you play and how many reward boxes you open. Halo Mini does not promise fixed earnings, and playing is always free.
