Frequently asked questions
Is the AirtelTigo reward real?
Yes — AirtelTigo is part of the live reward catalog in Ghana, and real players redeem it every day. We never ask you to pay to redeem.
How fast does the AirtelTigo reward arrive?
Rewards are delivered digitally after you redeem — most arrive within minutes, though some can take a little longer.
How much can I earn?
It depends on how much you play and how many reward boxes you open. Halo Mini doesn't promise fixed earnings — but playing is always free.
Do I have to pay or deposit anything?
No. Halo Mini is free to download, free to play and free to redeem. No purchase is ever required.
Can I get AT airtime without paying cash?
Yes. On Halo Mini you collect points from mini games and short video ads, then redeem AT airtime of GHS 2, 5, 10 or 20, with no deposit needed. Earnings are not fixed. AT's own option, SIM / Data Kredit (*588#), is a loan you repay with a fee at your next top-up.
How do I borrow airtime on AT (AirtelTigo)?
Dial *588# or *130# for a direct loan, or *588*1# or *130*1# to choose the amount. This is SIM / Data Kredit, an advance, not free airtime. AT's table shows you pay back GHS 1.20 for every GHS 1, and it is repaid when you next top up. To borrow data, dial *554#. If you would rather not borrow, Halo Mini lets you redeem AT airtime in GHS 2, 5, 10 or 20 with points from mini games, with no purchase.
How to get AT airtime on Halo Mini
Halo Mini is a free rewards app. You play short mini games and watch short video ads to collect points. You can then redeem them for AT (AirtelTigo) airtime of GHS 2, 5, 10 or 20. No purchase or deposit is needed, and Halo Mini does not promise fixed earnings. Halo Mini is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AT.
The airtime is sent straight to the phone number you enter when you redeem. Before you confirm, check the number digit by digit and make sure AT is the network you picked.
If the number has moved to another network, pick the network it uses now. MTN and Telecel airtime are also in the catalog.
AT's own ways to get airtime without cash
On its official website, AT (formerly AirtelTigo) lists SIM / Data Kredit for when you run out of credit. It is an airtime advance, not free airtime. AT takes back what you borrowed, plus a fee, when you next top up.
AT's own table shows you pay back GHS 1.20 for every GHS 1 you borrow. Only borrow what your next top-up can cover.
- Borrow airtime: dial *588# or *130# for a direct loan.
- Choose your amount: dial *588*1# or *130*1#. AT's table runs from GHS 0.70 up to GHS 15.
- What you pay back: GHS 1.20 for GHS 1, GHS 6.00 for GHS 5, and GHS 18.00 for GHS 15.
- Borrow data: dial *554#. For example, 25 MB is priced at GHS 0.50 and the total debt is GHS 0.60.
- Repayment: the advance is repaid at the time of your next balance top-up.

Avoid fake free-airtime offers
Be careful with 'free airtime' messages on WhatsApp, SMS or social media. Never give anyone your mobile money PIN or a code sent to your phone, even someone who says they work for AT.
Halo Mini never needs a purchase or deposit. If anyone asks you to pay first to unlock 'free' airtime, walk away.
